Skiing and biking are famous in Whistler for its unbelievable terrain, gnarly trails and impressive parks, but there is also a multitude of hikes, lakes and some of the best rock climbing in North America.
The bustling heart of Whistler is full of restaurants, bars and shops as well as Whistler Gondola if you're looking for a chilled out day or a place to have a few drinks after your adventure. In the main village, definitely venture to the Beacon or Stinky's for an Apres beer, Mexican corner or Sushi village if you want a bite to eat and if you've looking for an evening cocktail the Raven room is a must.
The upper village is a hidden gem, while quieter than the main village it definitely holds its own charm. RMU is our sister company in the upper village and is a great place for morning coffee, apres beers, a late night cocktail or to demo some of our skis! You also have Handle Bar and Fitz which are perfect apres spots after a long day skiing/ biking or just going for a stroll around the lakes.
If you're up for a challenge and a thrill, Whistler bungee is a 50 meter fall and an unforgettable experience as you 'fly' over the glacier fed Cheakamus river. Another great family or friends day out with an exhilarating feeling of soaring through the air with the breathtaking beauty of Cougar Mountain and the Whistler valley is Ziptrek Ecotours.
Alpine cafe is just a few minute walk from the lodge and is a great place for morning coffees breakfast or lunch. Connected to the cafe is a quaint market for little items you need to pick up
